New Feature: Recurring Invoices!

It's finally here, Recurring Invoices!

All of our Bronze, Silver and Gold members can now setup recurring invoices. Just go to the Invoice Center and select the Recurring tab. From here you can create and manage all of your recurring invoices (as many as you want!). As you know, we try to keep things easy but if you need help just click on the help button at the top right of your screen for step-by-step instructions.

Here's a few screenshots to start you off...

In the Invoice Center, you will now see a tab called recurring. This is where you can create a new recurring invoice and view the status of any other ones you have created.

Creating a recurring invoice should seem very familiar. It's simply an invoice with a few changed options - no new screens to learn. :)

Currency Option Now Available!

Showing the currency symbol has been a popular request on LiteAccounting. If you would like to display your currency (such as $150.00) on your invoices, now you can!

All you have to do is go to Settings and under the General Options tab select your currency from the dropdown list.

If you choose USD currency, for example, your invoices will now display as shown below.

Add Your Own Logo!

Want to add a professional touch? Starting with our Bronze plan, you can now add your own logo to your site and invoices.

This new option is in Settings under the General Options tab.

You can opt for the logo to be on your site, invoices, or both. See the screenshots below for examples.

Meiraware Business is now LiteAccounting!

We've moved! Everything you know and love about Meiraware Business hasn't changed. We've just made the name much easier to remember! Don't worry, all your information is still here with the same login and password and still the same easy to use site.

From now on, login at liteaccounting.com/a/login.

If you had already subscribed to our blog, you will just need to re-subscribe at liteaccounting.com/blog so you can still receive all the updates of new features and releases. If you haven't subscribed yet, please do!

New Features Added

We've now added the option to rename the default setting of "Tax" to any name you need to be displayed, such as VAT, GST, etc. You can access this option by going to Settings and selecting the Tax tab. This will update all of your current invoices to display your new tax name.

We also now give you the ability to choose your own date format. In Settings, just select the General Options tab and there you can change the default setting of mm/dd/yyyy to several different formats from the dropdown list. This will update all dates (including previously created invoices) throughout your account to your chosen date format.

To make it easier to track your invoices from the home page, we've added a Total to the pie chart to show the total balance of all outstanding invoices.

Last but not least, we have removed the comma from between the city and state in addresses on invoices (many countries do not use this) allowing more global use of the application.

We hope you enjoy the changes and there will be more to come, we appreciate all the feedback we have received, thank you all!

Gold Plan Changes - Unlimited Invoicing

We have had many customers request an Unlimited invoicing plan. We decided to change our Gold ($18 per month) plan from 200 invoices to unlimited!

New Dashboard!

A new addition has been in the works and is now live! The dashboard (home tab) now includes a snapshot view of outstanding invoices, along with a clickable pie chart to filter by customer. If you want to see all open invoices for only one customer, simply click the pie slice. The new dashboard also allows you to apply payments directly from the dashboard w/out having to navigate to the invoice center.

Bug viewing invoices in pdf fixed

Many of our users have reported issues with viewing invoices in older versions of Acrobat. The issue has been found and fixed.

New Feature: Email Invoice

You can now email an invoice directly from Meiraware Business! We've added the ability to send the invoice attached as a pdf due to popular demand.

In account settings, you can setup a simple or advanced template. Simply put text or use one of the dynamic words to auto-populate customer data in your message.

From the Invoice Edit screen, you will see a new link in the command bar "Email Invoice".

Simply click the button, fill out the relevant fields and that's it! Save it as a draft to send later, or save and send now.

If you have sent an invoice to a customer, we will track what date you did so on the Invoice Edit page right alongside the Email Invoice button in the command bar.
